Cardiovascular diseases and cancer are the leading causes of premature death among women and men in Europe. The European Health Center Otwock (ECZ Otwock), functioning as both a hospital and a clinic, is a facility specialized in cardio-oncology. It was established with the vision of creating a center for close cooperation between specialists in clinical oncology, oncological surgery, and cardiology.
This collaboration allows for an individual and comprehensive approach to the patient's clinical problem, including rehabilitation, treatment planning, and monitoring the long-term effects of previous intensive treatments related to oncological toxicity. The center's physicians focus on improving cancer treatment outcomes while minimizing the side effects of medications, including cardiotoxicity that may lead to heart failure. This is achieved through joint consultations between cardiologists and oncologists during the qualification stage, treatment safety monitoring, and follow-up after the completion of oncological therapy.
Thanks to extensive cooperation with other prestigious medical centers within Poland and abroad, patients under the care of our diagnostic and therapeutic teams can rely on specialized care from doctors in multiple fields, such as neurology, urology, surgery, cardiology, and more.
