Al Rashid Hospital
Al Rashid Hospital for Psychiatry and Addiction Treatment was established in 1996. It is a leading private psychiatric hospital in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The hospital is also a teaching facility accredited by the Jordanian Arab Board of Psychiatry as a center for education and training for university and postgraduate students in psychiatry, psychiatric nursing, and occupational therapy.
Al Rashid Hospital has 140 beds and is located in a scenic area in Abu Nsair, north of Amman, overlooking the countryside.
The hospital campus covers 17,000 m², while the total built-up area is 13,000 m². It provides crisis intervention, home services, occupational therapy, psychometric assessment, psychotherapy, and 24/7 rehabilitation services.
The hospital also offers addiction treatment services in different settings, including inpatient and outpatient clinics for both long-term and short-term programs. For patient comfort and privacy, the hospital has separate wards for males and females.
